Living in the Dexter neighborhood, you’re steps from the water, Lake Union Park and the Amazon campus in South Lake Union. Dexter is a growing residential hub, home to a new Herkimer Coffee shop, several fitness studios and much-loved watering holes like the Dexter Hayes Public House.

Dexter is also well-located for enjoying festivals and events at Seattle Center, Key Arena, and the hopping bar and nightlife scene in Lower Queen Anne. The neighborhood connects directly to Fremont, a Seattle ‘hood which bills itself as the “Center of the Universe” and is home to the Fremont Sunday Market and a growing array of great restaurants, bars and music venues.

Known as one of Seattle’s top bike routes, Dexter Avenue North recently received a number of bike-friendly upgrades, including buffered bike lanes and transit islands. In the mornings and evenings, you can count on other thoughtful 2-wheeled riders for company if you’re on a bike!
